Please tell me the name of British cities where people speaks understandable English for the ESL Students?

I won't rate the cities but I'll tell you where you shouldn't go because the accent is really hard to understand...first of all there's Liverpool with the whole scouse accent and Newcastle - believe me jordie doesn't even sound like English sometimes. Belfast is also quite a bad choice since people from Northern Ireland do have a funny accent. Same for Edinburgh - Scottish accent is indeed very funny but hard to follow. I think for a fact that if u really want to understand what they are saying you should generally avoid cities from the north and even the welsh regions...go for something like London or Brighton or whatever is closer to this area.
