Does anyone else hate the private web series?

I LOVED the private books, and I was way stoked when I found out they were making them into a web series, but I have to say, so far, I've been extremely disappointed. They hardly follow the books, the characters are almost nothing like I pictured them, and the guy who plays Thomas, Brant Daugherty, although he is very cute, is a terrible actor! I have to laugh after almost all of his lines. Does anyone else feel this way or is it just me being picky?
