Heating and open windows?

The more heat that escapes your building, the more heat needed to maintain the temperature inside. If you open the window, heat goes out the window. In order to keep the temperature up - whether for you or for other tenants - the boiler or furnace cranks up. This increases costs for fuel, and puts a greater burden on the boiler/furnace.
