Am I the only person who feels that most the big name female pop singers don't sing but just moan and groan

I know I will get eggs for this one but from Kelly Clarkson to Mariah Carrey to Christina Aguillera(or whatever her name)toFergie to Beyonce to the rest of them, they all sound like having s from one song to another and other than the moaning or high belting, there's nothing else. I am sorry, I miss the times when singers sing great songs that touch people's souls.
