Is electricity use by computers and phone chargers really significant?

My electricity bill seems to have increased steadily over the last two years. That coincides with our family finally getting into the "modern age'. Cell phones 2 1/2 years, home computer 15 months, add work laptop 1 year. Would this really affect our bill? It is not just the price increase. I actually check the Kwh used.
