How to convince my parents to let me travel on my own?

So I'm from colombia , about 10 years ago we moved to the U.S , we have never been back and I really want to go but my parents don't have the papers to , but I do. I am trying to convince them to let me go on my own, but I cant. I have family there I can stay with and everything! How can I convince them?
