Doggie clean-up in winter, and the spring "thaw"?

I am pretty lucky when it comes to cleaning up my dogs poo. She's just a small dog so she doesn't generate as much poo as my downstairs neighbors German Shepherd or my upstairs neighbors Husky. We all have our own section of yard for our dogs to go in and while they're constantly picking up poo I have yet to pick any up in the 2 years I've been there. My section of yard is actually the nicest and most well kept too! My dogs poo disintegrates after about a week and her urine doesn't burn the gr like some other dogs urine does so like I said...I'm lucky! Now if I had a Great Dane or other large dog it would be very different.
